Introducing a new type of input

Forget QWERTY. Just write.

With Gboard Physical Handwriting Version, you don’t need to know how to type. Simply write characters directly on the keyboard, and the conversion machine registers your input.

One character for any kind of writing

No matter how many ways you write the same character, Gboard Physical Handwriting Version can recognize it, thanks to a machine learning model built by handwriting data. Now, you can freely express yourself with your fingertip.

Customize it.

On GitHub, we’ve published the Gboard Physical Handwriting Version source code for using a machine learning model and training data for a Raspberry Pi device. With your own original data, you can also create a machine learning model to recognize characters other than hiragana and the alphabet.
